Ive had my ups and downs since moving to London as well as the occasional calls home for some motherly advice on the "small things", like trying to stay some-what sane . However, I feel so grateful to finally be here. A lot of people in the past laughed and shrugged off the idea of me ever getting into Saint Martins, which makes me feel like im here for a reason, here to prove them wrong.
If you really put your mind to what you want - nothing is impossible, no matter how hard you may think it is, try it. Im still constantly telling myself and trying to push myself. It is hard, but lifes hard. You have to work to get where you want to be. Positive thinking, and organisation is key and something I am still trying to get my head around. It takes a lot to push through, especially when you're having crappy days, if its - keeping up to date with work or feeling lost in classes and projects, trust me I've been there enough times in the last couple of months (every other day).
Since starting at Central Saint Martins I have been extremely busy with exploring different pathways on my course and getting organised. So far its been stressful, i do love it - but it has been overwhelming and im not even half way through this year. Which would make anyone nervous about applying to a BA in any course at CSM before this years UCAS deadline (which is in a couple of weeks).
So far I've been through all types of courses as im doing a Diagnostic FE year at the moment, weeks of - Fine Art, Graphics and Communications, Fashion and Textiles, 3D and Architecture and right now im on a specialised pathway for Performance Design and Practice. PDP is to do with lighting, stage set/makeup and performances, media and movies/film.
Ill be updating and upgrading my blog a lot in the next couple of months, with photos of my university work and outfit posts of course. I will be starting on my online portfolio soon as well, which my blog will link to once I get it up and running.
Leave comments, ask questions and keep updated.

Above are a few simple pieces I have put together, since a lot of people are extremely confused about this winter weather, heres an example of what could be worn out to dinner as the nights are especially chilly.
Its colder than ever in Dubai right now, and im sure its absolutely freezing in the UK with snow and all (JEL) but no matter how cold, knit is always appropriate.
Everywhere at the minuet has got loads
of winter wear to offer, ZARA, Bershka, H&M and Forever21.

2012; BUT NOT TO THE TRENDS.
The new year brings back old trends, well we cant call them "old" yet however trends from last year are being brought back this 2013 and influencing new trends mainly from Autum/Winter 2012.

Lipsy London has been in Dubai for a while now, since i've got the amazing opportunity to get a sneak peak of all the new collections each month, I will be sharing some of the stuff for my readers before hand on my blog.
This Decembers Fall/Winter collection is to die for, a lot of them consist of digital printing, retro patterns and bold colours which is perfect for all the end of year events and holidays coming up such as christmas, new years eve and the many concerts towards the end of the year.
Comment below to let me know what you think of the sneak peak post and
also if theres any labels you'd like to get a little look at before they come out this Fall/Winter just say. Im sure the majority of the collections are the same all over the world, not just in Dubai.. so ask away!
But Lipsy is defiantly a must go this season for dresses.
